If you’re thinking about selling your home, one of the most common questions I hear is:“What upgrades are actually worth doing before I sell?”The truth is—you don’t

Sometimes I sit back and ask myself: how did I get here? What did I do wrong? What did I do right? What choices shaped the person I am today?
When I reflect on my journey, I think about the foundation my family and community built for me:
My momma selling beauty products (because she is pretty) with determination and pride.
My dad working hard under the Virginia sun as a landscaper.
My Aunt Rita crafting and selling beautiful custom dolls.
My stepfather, a brick mason and general contractor, taking me to work with him—even though I hated it at the time.
My big cousins leading by example through higher education.
My little brother, sister, and younger cousins following right behind, keeping the drive alive.
I also think about my childhood friends—the ones who drove me back and forth to school, the ones who challenged me, and sometimes forced me to make better decisions in both life and business.
They didn’t know it then, but they were helping to shape the man I would become.
“This was always part of the long-term plan. I am exactly where God intended me to be.” - Jeff Hunt
When I connect all these dots, I see clearly: this path wasn’t by accident. It was built on the sacrifices of those before me, the encouragement of those beside me, and the blessings of God who knew my steps long before I did.
So whether you’ve read this all the way through or skimmed just a part of it, I want you to know:
👉 This is my testimony.
👉 I am grateful.
👉 I am blessed.
👉 And I am still building.
